Art is design and design is art. To understand design in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) students first need to understand the concepts and resources of the STEM areas.
In these classes, students learn basics in Science and Engineering through experimentation, lab work and hands-on projects.
The building of creative minds through Science and Engineering practices occurs through hands on projects and labs in which mistakes can happen. This allows students to redesign and find success that is uniquely their own. With this freedom of experimentation, students develop the confidence to explore without the fear of failure.
