Hands-on labs where students use real tools, keep a lab notebook, and learn to think like scientists. Seasonal topics (botany, electricity, ecosystems) tie concepts to everyday life and the outdoors. NGSS + “I Can” statements guide every lesson so kids see clear progress.
Students practice: planning investigations, accurate measuring, data tables/graphs, modeling phenomena, and sharing results.

Design-build challenges that turn ideas into tested prototypes. Students follow the engineering design process, from criteria and constraints to iteration and presentation. Sample builds include bridges, solar cars, and paper rockets.
Students practice: prototyping, testing, refining, documenting builds, and explaining how they solved problems.
